Ivan A. Saperstein is a principal in the law firm of Saperstein & Crowell, LLP. He graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law in 1995 and has been in private practice since 2004.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Ivan was in-house counsel with Wellspring Media and Unapix Entertainment. He also has practiced law with the firm Shukat, Arrow, Hafer, Weber & Herbsman, LLP (SAHW&H), representing some of the most prestigious names in the music business along with top names in the worlds of theater, film, publishing and fine art. Ivan maintains a close professional relationship with SAHW&H, as well as other top-quality law firms that complement his practice, allowing his clients to be represented in a wide variety of legal matters.

Ivan has completed extensive training at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, The New York City Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association. Ivan has spoken on various legal subjects and a guest lecturer at New York Law School. He is a member of numerous bar association sections and committees including those related to: Entertainment Art & Sports Law; Copyright & Trademark; Small Law Firms; General Practice; Alternative Dispute Resolution; Trusts & Estates; Family and Domestic Relations Law; and Criminal Law.

An active Guardian Ad Litem in the New York City Housing courts, he is certified as an Article 81 Guardian under the Mental Hygiene Law of the State of New York. Ivan has worked extensively in film and media production and is credited as a producer on a number of feature films. Ivan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emerson College in 1988.
